Law students rock regional


<p>Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law students who competed in the regional round of the American Bar Association's Representation in Mediation Competition, held on March 7-8 in Armstrong Hall, protected the house.</p><separator></separator><p>&quot;We had a very strong showing with both ASU teams going undefeated in the preliminary rounds, leading to an all-ASU final,&quot; said Professor Art Hinshaw, who organized the event. &quot;In a 2-1 vote, the team consisting of Trish Stuhan (3L) and Rob Gordon (1L) won the region, with the team of Erika Mansur (3L) and Patrick Gorman (1L) coming in as runners-up.&quot;</p><separator></separator><p>As regional champions, Stuhan and Gordon will compete in the national round of the competition on April 15-16 in New York City.</p><separator></separator><p>Hinshaw congratulated both teams, and thanked Kristine Reich, the College's Director of Pro Bono and Community Outreach, who coached both teams, as well as College of Law staffers Suzie Lynn, Allan Crouch, Suzanne Morris and Tom Williams for helping the conference run smoothly.
