Law schools win grants for legal aid, public health

An article in The National Law Journal, “Law schools win grants for legal aid, public health,” reports on the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law’s new grant to establish the Western regional office of the Public Health Law Network.

The office, funded by a $1.3.25 million grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, provides legal and policy solutions to health professionals in 11 states grappling with complex public health challenges. It is directed by James G. Hodge Jr., the ASU Lincoln Professor of Health Law and Ethics, and the Director of the law school’s Public Health Law and Policy Program.
