Lani Shiota on the Sublime

March 10, 2017

"It's vast. It's grand. It's whatever is extraordinarily beautiful in our lives."

Michelle "Lani" Shiota joined the social psychology faculty at ASU in 2006 after earning her undergraduate degree in Communication at Stanford University, her Ph.D. at UC Berkeley, and receiving post-doctorate training at the Berkeley Psychophysiology Lab. Shiota's research focuses on human emotions, relationships and awe.
