Karin speaks at congressional briefing


Associate clinical professor Marcy Karin, director of the Work-Life Policy Unit in the Civil Justice Clinic at the College of Law, participated in the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute Congressional Briefing in Washington, D.C., on Oct. 12.

Karin served as a panelist for the briefing titled, “Workplace Flexibility: A 21st Century Imperative,” sponsored by the Society for Human Resource Management.

Karin’s research interests include workplace law, policy and practice, civil justice for military families and survivors of domestic violence and women’s legal history. She is an active member of the national work-life law and policy community. She is regularly invited to speak about the role of thoughtful public policy in this area and is listed in the Sloan Network’s Who’s Who in Work and Family.
