Kader will speak at Azerbaijan program

Professor David Kader will speak to students from Azerbaijan on religion, diversity and the U.S. Constitution as part of a 16-day program being put on by ASU in September.

Azerbaijan is the largest country in the Caucasus region located between Western Asia and Eastern Europe. The students will be arriving on Sept. 6, and will participate in activities and attend lectures given by various professors.

Kader’s lecture will cover ways in which the U.S. Constitution protects religious diversity, and whether the issue of religion divides Americans.

As a faculty affiliate for the ASU Center for the Study of Religion and Conflict, Kader teaches in the areas of criminal procedure, torts, state constitutional law and religion and the Constitution.
