Kader on Honorary Committee for Holocaust Museum dinner
<p>Professor David Kader of the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law has been chosen for the Honorary Committee for the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum’s Annual Tribute Dinner in Phoenix on Feb. 27 at the Arizona Biltmore.</p><separator></separator><p>The dinner will honor Sheila Polk (Class of 1982), Yavapai County Attorney, for her work in bringing the lessons of the Holocaust to the Arizona legal community – primarily law enforcement and prosecutors.</p><separator></separator><p>Kader, a faculty affiliate at the ASU Center for the Study of Religion & Conflict, the Center for the Study of Medieval & Renaissance Studies, and the Melikian Center Russian, Eurasian & East European Studies, has been involved with the local community of Holocaust survivors for more than 25 years.</p><separator></separator><p>He was one of the founders of the Phoenix Holocaust Survivors’ Association and was president of the organization for nine years.</p><separator></separator><p>Kader teaches criminal procedure, torts, state constitutional law and religion and the Constitution.
