Health Awareness Fair aims to reach out to community
The Hispanic Heritage Committee on ASU's West campus is sponsoring a Health Awareness Fair on Friday, Oct. 10 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the multipurpose field and basketball courts adjacent to the Sands Classroom Building.
Participating agencies include United Blood Services, American Cancer Society, Heart Association, the Donor Network of Arizona, and the National Marrow Donor Program (bone marrow). The goal of the day is to reach members of the community and students who are less likely to become a donor. Agencies will be on site to take blood donations and conduct bone marrow donor screenings. Program and agency information will be available.
The Health Awareness Fair is also supported by the Black History Month commitee, Native American Events Commitee and MLK Jr. Commitee.
