H1N1 flu vaccine clinic at Tempe campus
The Tempe Campus Health Service is holding an H1N1 (also known as swine flu) mass vaccination clinic from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Jan. 26 at the Health Service Building on University Drive just north of Palm Walk. The vaccine is currently being administered to all students, faculty and staff while supplies last.
Members of the ASU community must show their ASU SunCard in order to receive the vaccine. There is a $10 administration charge for the vaccine. Arizona Board of Regents Aetna Student Health Insurance and the Campus Health Service Bridge Plan will cover the administration cost for patients enrolled in these plans. Benefit-eligible employees´ administration fee will be covered in the same manner as the seasonal flu vaccinations. Campus Health Service will also bill third party insurances as appropriate.
People who have already had H1N1 flu that has been confirmed through testing do not need to get the vaccine. For more information about H1N1 flu, go to www.asu.edu/pandemic or to http://students.asu.edu/health.
