Gartner speaks at conference hosted by the 'Yale Journal of International Law'


David Gartner, associate professor of law, spoke at a Yale Journal of International Law conference in an talk entitled, “Non-State Actors, Innovative Governance and Accountability in International Institutions,” on Feb. 26.

The conference, “Non-State Actors and International Law,” will focus on the increasing role of non-state actors in the international system, as well as the laws that govern non-state actors.

Gartner teaches constitutional law, international institutions, foreign relations law and global health law and policy. His current research focuses on the role of innovative international institutions and non-state actors in shaping international law and the response to global challenges in areas such as global health, development, education and the environment.
