Gartner to participate at International Law Colloquium
David Gartner, associate professor of law, will contribute to a roundtable discussion on changing understandings of wartime, as part of the International Law Colloquium at Temple University’s Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia on Sept. 23.
The roundtable is focused on the book, War Time: An Idea, its History, its Consequences, by Mary Dudziak, a Judge Edward J. and Ruey L. Guirado Professor of Law, History and Political Science at the University of Southern California Law School.
Gartner teaches Constitutional Law, International Institutions, Foreign Relations Law and Global Health Law and Policy. His current research focuses on the role of innovative international institutions and non-state actors in shaping international law and the response to global challenges in areas such as global health, development, education and the environment.
