Garreau to address Santa Fe Institute


<p><a href="http://www.law.asu.edu/Apps/Faculty/Faculty.aspx?individual_id=66654">J… Garreau</a>, Lincoln Professor of Law, Culture and Values, and Director of The Prevail Project: Wise Governance for Challenging Futures at the College of Law, will speak at a meeting of the Santa Fe Institute on Wednesday, May 19, in Washington, D.C.</p><separator></separator><p>Garreau will participate in "Seeing Conflict in a New Light," a business network topical meeting co-sponsored by the New America Foundation. The event seeks to explore how concepts and tools from complex systems science can inform attempts to predict and control multiparty, armed conflict in the human arena.</p><separator></separator><p>Garreau, an Affiliated Faculty Member, ASU Consortium for Science, Policy &amp; Outcomes, is a student of culture, values and change. As director of The Prevail Project, he is building on a Radical Evolution concept that the Prevail Scenario - the humanistic possibility that we can control and direct this future - might be encouraged.
