Fellmeth publishes international law course book
A new course book by Professor Aaron Fellmeth of the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law entitled, The Law of International Business Transactions (American Casebook Series), recently was published by West Publishing.
"This course book offers entertaining and systematically organized content to explain the many complex legal regimes governing international business transactions," according to a review by the publisher. "It is written by an experienced international business lawyer for law students seeking an introduction to all legal aspects of cross-border business, focusing on U.S.-based law practice. It offers complete coverage of the subject, covering transactional, regulatory, and international law, including planning for disputes.
"It also integrates visual aids, career advice from eminent practicing attorneys in each field of law, policy problems, and practice legal problems to hone students' skills in applied legal analysis," according to West.
Fellmeth has studied international law from an interdisciplinary perspective since 1991. His research and teaching focus on international law jurisprudence and the formation of rules of customary international law in contested subjects, such as evolving human rights issues, espionage and covert action, psychological manipulation, conventional and asymmetrical armed conflict, and the internationalization of intellectual property rights. Fellmeth also is a leading expert on the law and regulation of international business transactions and intellectual property with a special focus on patent law and technology. He teaches Public International Law, International Business Transactions, Research Methods in International Law, and Patent Law.
