Fellmeth appointed chair of International Human Rights Committee

Professor Aaron Fellmeth, a Faculty Fellow in the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law's Center for Law and Global Affairs, was recently appointed chair of the International Human Rights Committee by the American Branch of the International Law Association.

The association, founded in 1873, is the preeminent international non-governmental organization for developing and restating international law. The American branch was established in 1922.

Fellmeth’s research and teaching focus on international law jurisprudence and the formation of rules of customary international law in contested subjects, such as evolving human rights issues, espionage and covert action, psychological manipulation, new technologies in conventional and asymmetrical armed conflict, and the internationalization of intellectual property rights.
