Vintage movie posters and detailed pencil drawings by an Arizona artist will be featured in an exhibition at ASU Gammage July 10-Aug. 13.

Herman Zelig Neuberger of Maricopa, Arizona, is an accomplished multimedia artist who has practiced architecture and art for more than 40 years. His pencil drawings of city, historical, western and wildlife scenes, as well as wheel transportation and celebrities, are known for their exquisite detail and realistic presentation.

Neuberger’s art taps into memory and nostalgia. He has worked in clay and metal sculpture, watercolor, ink sketching and pencil drawing.

“Femmes Fatales and Fantasies” is a display of original vintage movie posters of films which were performed in the theater before they became movies. They include “Damn Yankees,” “Grease,” Camelot,” “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” and others. Other posters may be viewed at fffmovieposters.com or at the gallery at 7013 E. Main St., Scottsdale.

Exhibit hours at ASU Gammage are 1-4 p.m., Mondays, or by appointment. Due to rehearsals, event set-up, performances, special events and holidays, it is advisable to call (480) 965-6912 or (480) 965-0458 to ensure viewing hours, since they are subject to cancellation without notice.

The street address is 1200 S. Forest Ave., Tempe. Parking is available at meters around the perimeter of ASU Gammage. Entrance is through east lobby doors at the box office.
