Entrepreneur shares experience with Small Business grant, ATIC


<p>MESA, Ariz. — Doug Limbaugh, owner of Kutta Consulting and recipient of a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant, is partnering with Arizona State University’s new Advanced Technology and Innovation Collaboratory (ATIC) to create 2D/3D imaging tools for incident commanders.</p><separator></separator><p>Through ATIC, Limbaugh is collaborating with the I3DEA Lab at the Polytechnic campus and PRISM at the Tempe campus to create the new tool that will aid incident commanders in tracking where first responders, like firefighters, are located in a building once they go in to respond to an emergency. The tool will help incident commanders direct resources more efficiently and effectively, lowering the risk of loss and saving lives.</p><separator></separator><p>Limbaugh will speak about his SBIR proposal/grant and ATIC’s involvement, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., March 29, Student Union Cooley Ballrooms B and C, Polytechnic campus in Mesa.
