Entertainment, giveaways enhance Food Truck Thursdays at ASU
Local food trucks will return to the Tempe campus from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m Aug. 20 for Food Truck Thursdays.
A distinctive lunchtime experience is in store for the ASU community as local gourmet food trucks return to the Tempe campus from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m Aug. 20 for Food Truck Thursdays.
The weekly event, located in the parking lot at the corner of Sixth Street and College Avenue, combines unique cuisine with music and occasional live entertainment. It takes places every Thursday during the fall 2015 semester.
This is a change from past years, when food trucks previously operated on the Tempe campus on Wednesdays. They have been serving food to hundreds of members from the ASU and downtown Tempe communities since 2012.
Each event also will feature prize giveaways courtesy of ASU Trademark and Licensing, and Sun Devil Marketplace. Free parking is available during the event from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in nearby, designated lots.
Every Monday, a weekly list of participating vendors and prize giveaways will be available on the ASU Food Truck Web page.
