Ellman appointed to journal editorial board

Ira Ellman

Professor Ira Ellman will join the editorial board of the peer-reviewed journal Psychology, Public Policy, and Law, published by the American Psychological Association. His appointment becomes effective in January, when the journal also gets a new editor, Michael Lamb, who is chair of the Department of Social and Developmental Psychology at the University of Cambridge in England.

Ellman is a Willard H. Pedrick Distinguished Research Scholar and an Affiliate Professor of Psychology at ASU. He is also an affiliate faculty member of the Center for Child and Youth Policy at the University of California at Berkeley.

His current scholarly projects include an empirical investigation into how people make judgments about appropriate legal rules. He has recently been awarded a large grant from the Nuffield Foundation in London to extend that work to Great Britain.
