Eggers, Bradshaw take bronze on second Day of Pac-12 Championships

The Sun Devils divers hit high marks and ASU currently stands in sixth place overall with a score of 298 points during the second day of the Pac-12 Women's Swimming and Men's & Women's Diving Championships..

Senior diver Elina Eggers took the bronze medal in the women's 1-meter springboard, finishing third in finals with a score of 312.25.

Also taking bronze, senior Cameron Bradshaw took third place in the men's 3-meter springboard with a score of 362.15. Bradshaw led the group after the preliminaries with a score of 361.75. Freshman Kevin Olson placed seventh in finals with a score of 311.75.

Junior Cassie Morrice swam the women's 500 free, scoring second place in prelims with a time of 4:41.62,with the junior placing fifth in the finals with a time of 4:42.75.  Sophomore Tristin Baxter placed with a final time of 4:43.44; sophomore Kallie Golden finished 11th with 4:46.49, and sophomore Jordan Iverson swam 4:57.42 placing 30th.

Swimming in the women's 200 free relay was junior Caroline Kuczynski, seniors Penelope Yamauchi and Kelli Kyle, and sophomore Jaclyn Chavez. The Sun Devils placed ninth with a time of 1:33.74.

Kuczynski swam the women's 200 IM with a time of 2:00.27, finishing eighth in finals. Junior Mattie Kukors scored 10th with 1:58.12, Penelope Yamauchi swam at 2:00.19 for 17th place, junior Robyn Matthews finished 31st with 2:04.28, freshman Tory Houston placed 38th with 2:06.69, senior Jordyn Green swam 2:08.97 for 44th place, freshmen Lori Layne Kremer finished 50th with 2:10.74 and Miranda Tornatore at 2:06.69.

Shannon Landgrebe (JR) ended in 11th place of the women's 50 free with a time of 22.66. Rebecca Ejdervik (SR) placed 36th with 23.70; Kelli Kyle (SR) placed 41st with 23.84; Jaclyn Chavez (SO) finished 44th with 23.98.
