Economics expert to speak on early childhood development programs

Nobel laureate Edward C. Prescott invites the public to attend a discussion led by Arthur J. Rolnick, senior fellow and co-director of Human Capital Research Collaborative at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at University of Minnesota.

Rolnick will share his expertise in one of the most overlooked solutions to achieving economic growth: early childhood development programs. The talk is sponsored by ASU's Center for the Advanced Study in Economic Efficiency.

His talk titled "Early Childhood Development: Economic Development with a High Public Return" is scheduled to take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., Feb. 10, at Tempe Center for the Arts, located at 700 West Rio Salado Pkwy, in Tempe.
