Diving competes for NCAA Championship

The Arizona State men’s and women’s diving teams travel to Colorado Springs, Colo., to compete in the Zone E Championships hosted by the Air Force Academy, March 8-10, to determine which divers will advance to the NCAA Championships.
Senior Elina Eggers is coming off of her second-career conference title on platform at the 2012 Pac-12 championships. The senior will compete on the 1-meter and 3-meter springboard and the platform. Eggers also took first place on platform at the 2010 Zone E championships.
Senior Constantin Blaha, senior Cameron Bradshaw and freshman Kevin Olson will represent the men in the Zone E championships. Blaha, who finished in third place on the men’s 3-meter springboard at the 2011 NCAA championships, will look to qualify for his third-consecutive nationals appearance. Bradshaw also qualified for NCAA’s last season, took third in the men’s 1-meter at the 2011 Zone E championships.
The meet will send eight men and six women in total to the NCAA championships. The men's NCAA Championships will be held in Federal Way, Wash. while the women's NCAA championships will be held in Auburn, Ala.

2nd Qualifier: 1st place finisher on 3-meter
3rd Qualifier: 1st place finisher on 1-meter
4th Qualifier: 2nd place finisher on 3-meter
5th Qualifier: 2nd place finisher on 1-meter
6th Qualifier: 3rd place finisher on 3-meter
7th Qualifier: 3rd place finisher on 1-meter
8th Qualifier: 2nd place finisher on platform
Women
1st Qualifier: 1st place finisher on platform
2nd Qualifier: 1st place finisher on 3-meter
3rd Qualifier: 1st place finisher on 1-meter
4th Qualifier: 2nd place finisher on 3-meter
