Devils’ Workshop continues art fest

The Devils’ Workshop: 2007 Staff Artfest continues July 25 with an exhibit of quilts, photos and painted faces.

From 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., the fest will take place at Union Stage in the Memorial Union (lower level). Janee Richardson will exhibit quilts, and there will be photos by Chrys Gakopoulos. At 12:15 p.m., Joan Langdon will discuss and demonstrate the art of face painting.

The festival continues with the following:

• July 26: Organ concert by Gary Quamme, 12:15 to 12:45 p.m., Organ Hall, School of Music.
• Aug. 1: Poetry reading by Charles Jensen, Sheilah Britton and other writers; display of artists books and fine printing by Dan Mayer and Karla Elling.
• Aug. 2: Martial arts demonstration by Janice Frangella, performance by a staff band (TBA), vocal music by Bonita Power, artwork by the Paper Bouquet (Marilyn Mason, Stephanie Martin and Emilie Roy) and photos by Erica Velasco.
