Dauntless Drumstix Dash to Benefit Scholarships, Food Banks


<p>The National Agri-Marketing Association, an Arizona State University's Polytechnic campus student organization, and other faculty and staff are hosting the second Annual Dauntless Drumstix Dash&gt;5K and 10K road races, a 10K Challenge Run (for teams of five runners), and a two mile fun walk.</p><separator></separator><p> All races will be held on <b>Saturday, November 18</b>, at ASU's Polytechnic campus in southeast Mesa at the intersections of Power and Williams Field roads. Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. and the races begin at 8 a.m.</p><separator></separator><p>Registration cost is $12 per participant for those registering before Friday, Nov. 17. On race day registration fee is $15. All race participants will receive a T-shirt and refreshments, including Indian fry bread prepared by the ASU's Polytechnic campus American Indian Programs students, grilled hot dogs, fruit, lemonade and water.</p><separator></separator><p> Racers are asked to bring a canned food item to be donated to the United Food Bank in Mesa. Proceeds from the race will benefit ASU's Polytechnic campus student scholarship funds.</p><separator></separator><p>Awards will be given to the top individual finishers in each age and gender bracket. The 10K Challenge Run teams will compete for the Dauntless Drumstix Dash Trophy.
