Cruz to participate in conference on social science research


<p><a href="http://www.law.asu.edu/Apps/Faculty/Faculty.aspx?individual_id=45422">E… Cruz</a>, associate clinical professor and director of the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law's Immigration Law &amp; Policy Clinic, will participate in an international conference on Sept. 10-11 to discuss social science research that examines immigration and its impact on transnational migration, diverse populations and communities, and law and policy.</p><separator></separator><p>More than two dozen scholars will gather at Arizona State University for the international conference, &quot;Social Science Research on Immigration: The Role of Transnational Migration, Communities and Policy.&quot;</p><separator></separator><p>Participants will include scholars whose research interests reflect a variety of disciplines and contexts - from the United States to Europe and Africa. The conference is funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation.</p><separator></separator><p>The conference will be held from 1-5 p.m., Sept. 10, and from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Sept. 11, at the ASU Memorial Union, Cochise room 228.
