Cronkite School showing tonight's debate

Students, faculty, staff and the general public are invited to watch the first presidential debate between Democrat Barack Obama and Republican John McCain at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the ASU Downtown Phoenix campus. 

The debates will be shown on the Cronkite School's 16 by nine foot wide television screen in the First Amendment Forum on the second floor of the building at 555 N. Central Ave. The 90-minute debate focusing on foreign policy begins at 6 p.m., Arizona time.
