Computing Center event to feature Watson

The ASU Advanced Computing Center (A2C2) is co-hosting an event featuring the IBM high performance computing (HPC) team and special guest Watson, the computing system recently featured on the game show "Jeopardy!"

Mingle with students, faculty and staff from ASU, NAU, UA, Arizona’s local community colleges, and A2C2’s partner organizations TGen, the Arizona Science Center and more.

In addition to guest speakers and presentations from the IBM high performance computing team, this event will feature research presentations from the ASU community and an interactive display of Watson’s capabilities.

The event will close with a poster presentation and an informal “meet and greet,” giving attendees an opportunity to learn more about the ASU community’s research interests, IBM high-performance computing, high-performance computing at ASU, A2C2’s services and facilities and IBM’s Watson.
