College of Law to sponsor Title VI workshop


<p>The Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law and the International Rescue Committee of Phoenix will host the second Community Forum on Title VI: “Planning for Language Access in your Organization,” on Tuesday, Nov. 16. The event will be from 9 a.m. to noon in the A.E. England Building at Civic Space Park, 424 N. Central Ave., in downtown Phoenix.</p><separator></separator><p>The agenda includes a plenary session, “Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Guidance on Language Access Plans,” and panel sessions on designing and implementing such plans in health care, education and government and legal services.
