College of Law alumna appointed as a Superior Court Judge in Maricopa


College of Law alumna Danielle Viola (Class of 1999) was appointed on March 28 by Gov. Jan Brewer to a position as a Superior Court Judge in Maricopa County.

Previously, Viola served as a Judge Pro Tempore for the Maricopa County Superior Court and as a partner at the law firm of Snell & Wilmer. Her work has focused on matters involving franchise, banking, insurance, real estate and general contract disputes.

“Danielle Viola is a very accomplished attorney who is known as a skilled advocate and dedicated practitioner,” said Brewer in a press release. “Her many years in private practice and judicial experience as judge pro tem makes her well-qualified to be a superior court judge.”
