College alum profiled in 'Arizona Capitol Times'
<p>Grant Woods (Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, Class of 1979) was interviewed about topics ranging from Sen. John McCain's presidential campaign to the Arizona Republican party to Roland Burris, the new junior Senator from Illinois, in a recent issue of <i>Arizona Capitol Times</i>.</p><separator></separator><p>Reporter Jeremy Duda's Q&A with Woods, a former Arizona Attorney General, was published in the Jan. 23 edition.</p><separator></separator><p>Once the "whole economic tsunami hit," Woods said, McCain's campaign ended and could only have been salvaged if he had refused to support the bail-out of the financial markets in October, in contrast to Barack Obama's support of it.</p><separator></separator><p>Woods said "conservative" has gotten a bad name in Arizona, and he would like to see a return to the conservatism of Barry Goldwater, meaning a less invasive, but more efficient government.</p><separator></separator><p>Woods, who worked with Sen.
