Clery Act seminar to be held at Skysong


<p>Arizona State University is hosting a seminar on Clery Act compliance by Security on Campus, Inc, from June 28-29 at SkySong.</p><separator></separator><p>The Clery Act requires United States colleges and universities that participate in federal financial aid programs to disclose information about crime on and around their campuses.</p><separator></separator><p>The seminar includes information on emergency response and immediate notification, missing student protocols, expanded hate crime reporting, partnering with local police and a presentation on new campus fire safety reporting requirements.</p><separator></separator><p>Clery Act compliance information that will be shared includes: collecting, classifying and counting crime statistics; ongoing disclosures such as timely warnings, emergency notification and sharing a public crime log; victim support services and security programs; and critical annual security report filings.</p><separator></separator><p>The seminar is suited to personnel from campus police, facilities, emergency operations, student affairs, legal counsel, admissions officers, victim advocates, residential life and human resources.</p><separator></separator><p>Cost of the seminar is $445 or $395 if registered by June 14. There is also a $50 discount per applicant for multidisciplinary teams of three people or more.
