Ciganda, Molinaro named to the All-Pac-10 Women's Golf Team


<p>Arizona State juniors <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-golf/mtt/ciganda_carlota00.html">… Ciganda</a> and <a href="http://thesundevils.cstv.com/sports/w-golf/mtt/molinaro_giulia00.html">… Molinaro</a> were named to the 2011 All-Pac-10 Conference team, Commissioner Larry Scott announced today.</p><separator></separator><p class="MsoNormal">Ciganda, a two-time Pac-10 individual Champion, was named an All-Pac-10 first-team selection for the third-consecutive year. The Pamplona, Spain native is currently ranked sixth in the nation according to Golfweek and most recently finished in third place at the 2011 Pac-10 Championships. Ciganda won individual titles this season at both the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge and the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational.</p><separator></separator><p class="MsoNormal">Molinaro earned her first conference honor, as she was named an All-Pac-10 second-team selection. Molinaro won her first individual title at the Paradise Desert Classic and has finished in the top-10 four times this season.</p><separator></separator><p class="MsoNormal">The Sun Devils will head to Daytona Beach, Fla. as the No. 4 seed in the East Regional. ASU will join Alabama, Purdue and California, among others competing for a bid to nationals at the Legends Course of the LPGA National Golf Course.</p>
