Chesler published in 'Business Law Today'
An article by Susan Chesler, associate clinical professor at the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, "Drafting Effective Contracts: How to revise, edit, and use form agreements," recently was published in the November/December 2009 issue of Business Law Today.
The magazine is published by the ABA's Business Law Section, which has a mission to serve the public, the profession and the Section by furthering the development and improvement of business law, educating Section members in business law and related professional responsibilities, and helping Section members to serve their clients competently, efficiently and professionally.
The article will also be reprinted (in edited form) by the ABA General Practice, Solo and Small Firm Division in the March 2010 issue of GPSolo magazine, which has a special "Best of ABA Sections" theme.

Chesler teaches Legal Method & Writing, Contract Drafting and Negotiating, and other upper-level lawyering skills courses. She is a member of the Legal Writing Institute and other professional organizations focusing on teaching and promoting the use of plain language in the practice of law. She regularly presents at national and regional conferences on different topics, such as using technology in the classroom, teaching drafting and negotiating skills, and other legal writing topics.
