Bodansky to address Oxford World Forum

Daniel Bodansky, the incoming ASU Lincoln Professor of Law, Ethics and Sustainability at the College of Law, will lecture on Sunday, June 27, at the opening session of the World Forum on Enterprise and the Environment at the University of Oxford.

Bodansky will talk about international climate negotiations at the three-day forum, which will focus on the theme, “Low Carbon Mobility: Land; Sea and Air.” It aims to outline a vision of a sustainable world in 2050 and explore key challenges and critical milestones to getting there. He will be joined in the opening plenary session by former Soviet Union president Mikhail Gorbachev, and Janez Potočnik, the European Union Commissioner for the Environment.

Bodansky is a preeminent authority on global climate change whose teaching and research focus on international environmental law and public international law. He teaches courses in international law and sustainability and is a key player in the College of Law’s new Program in Law and Sustainability.
