Bender quoted in the `Republic'


<p>Professor <a href="http://www.law.asu.edu/Apps/Faculty/Faculty.aspx?individual_id=23">Paul Bender</a>, of the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, was quoted in the March 24 edition of <em>The Arizona Republic</em> in an article about the U.S. Senate delaying a vote on the proposed tax on bonuses of American International Group executives.</p><separator></separator><p>In the article, &quot;Senate stalls vote to tax AIG bonuses,&quot; reporter Dan Nowicki quoted Bender as saying a bill passed by the U.S. House to levy a 90 percent tax on the bonuses likely would pass constitutional muster.
