Basketball team shows strength
Despite a long men's basketball season, the ASU men's team fought to the end in the Pac-10 tournament.
The team finished with an 8-22 overall record in Coach Herb Sendek's first season. Despite the record, Arizona Republic columnist Paola Boivin, says the team has reason to be optimistic.
“As they have all season, the Sun Devils left everything they had inside this building Wednesday night,” writes Boivin.
“This has been a wonderful experience for me,” said ASU coach Sendek. “I really enjoyed my relationships and my experience with this group. They've enriched me and I greatly enjoyed being part of this ASU community.”
