Newly wrapped intercampus shuttle buses pick up students in front of Best Hall on the Tempe campus. The shuttle routes have been renamed Maroon (West-Downtown Phoenix campuses) and Gold (Polytechnic campus). Only the name has changed; the time schedules and stop locations remain the same.

Construction continues on the Sun Devil Fitness Complex at the Downtown Phoenix campus. The five-story facility, due for completion later this year, is a community collaboration in partnership with the YMCA. When finished, it will include a large gymnasium, a weight room, an indoor track, student lounge, bike co-op, locker rooms and a rooftop pool.

Alexa Emmons, a junior health science pre-professional major, was first in line to donate blood on Jan. 11, as part of the ASU Programming and Activities Board drive. The United Blood Services Bloodmobile was parked next to Taylor Place on ASU's Downtown Phoenix campus to make it convenient for students to participate.

Freshman speech and hearing major Megan Moore found the Scoular Study Lounge in the Memorial Union a cozy place to study between classes.

Juniors from The Design School's five design disciplines - architecture, landscape architecture, visual communications, interior and urban design - formed interdisciplinary teams that, in 10 days, each developed ideas that ranged from revamping the Arizona Museum for Youth's nondescript exterior, to moveable interior panels, to an outdoor atrium for gardening, workshops and discovery areas. The entries are on display in the Design South gallery.

Red Square was packed with students and faculty from The Design School who watched as the seven finalists presented their plans to a panel of judges who chose Team 5, "Interactome," as this year's Cluster Project winner.
