The 2012 ASU Academic Bowl was held Oct. 1-4, where four-person teams from 13 different colleges across the university vied for glory and $24,000 in scholarships. Canby Jr., of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals (center), and Glenn M. Feldman expanded and commented on the subject of Indian Law.

NCAA National Wrestling Champion Anthony Robles returned to ASU for a speaking engagement and book-signing event at the Memorial Union on ASU's Tempe campus. The recent Sun Devil alum gave a short presentation and took questions from the audience before signing copies of his new book, "Unstoppable.”

The Food Truck Block Party continues on Wednesdays where a variety of food trucks gather in the parking lot on the southeast corner of Forest and Sixth Street. The lot is south of University Towers and part of what will be the new Block 12 development. Stop by between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Wednesday afternoons for good eats and great company.

Richard Hopkins discusses the development of “greenspaces” during the History Faculty Forum. Hopkins is a faculty associate specializing in modern European social and cultural history. His dissertation, "Engineering Nature: Public Greenspace in Nineteenth-Century Paris" is being prepared for publication.
