Brock Osweiler (17) dives over the goal line to score his only rushing touchdown of the game. Osweiler replaced injured starter Steven Threet and led the Devils to a win, throwing for 380 yards and four touchdowns, as well as rushing for one touchdown.

ASU’s Introduction to Engineering Design class has students design, fabricate and program a robot, which has to make its way unaided through a maze. Andy Fimbrez works on his team’s robot. The course introduces engineering as a profession, critical thinking in design and modeling, team dynamics and communication.

Aili Mari Tripp, president-elect of the African Studies Association and a professor of political science and gender & women's studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, spoke on "Women, Power and Peacemaking in Africa" during a presentation Nov. 29 on ASU's Tempe campus. Tripp's remarks drew on comparative research and fieldwork across Africa to explore why post-conflict countries have double the rates of female legislative representation compared to countries that have not undergone conflict.
