Garcia has been baking professionally for 38 years and has been the head pastry chef at ASU for the past 23 years. For the competition, Garcia baked a Tres Leches Cake with coconut pineapple mousse, topped with buttercream frosting. In honor of Tempe Town Lake’s birthday, a miniature Sparky sat in a rowboat atop the cake. <br /></p><separator></separator><p>Slices of cake were provided to the public for a minimum $1 donation.
