ASU students create mobile maternity clinics for third world country


A group of ASU students, including students from Barrett, The Honors College at ASU, saw the need for prenatal and maternity health care in third world countries and set out to do something about it. They created a startup called G3Box, which focuses on building mobile maternity clinics inside large shipping containers. Once outfitted with equipment, the containers-turned-clinics are shipped to where they are needed. The first such clinic is ready to be shipped to Kenya.
