ASU softball wins national title By Lisa Robbins | June 08, 2011 Freshman Dallas Escobedo pitched ASU to a win in the 2011 NCAA National Championships in Oklahoma City at the College Softball World Series. The Sun Devils celebrate their win. This is the 2nd national title for the softball team in four years and also marks the 400th NCAA Championship in Pac-10 Conference history. Softball coach Clint Meyers receives a traditional sports drink “shower” following the Sun Devils victory. The softball team sings the ASU fight song following the trophy presentation.
