ASU School of Art Clay Club holds annual pre-holiday sale

The annual pre-holiday ASU Clay Club ceramics sale will feature one-of-a-kind functional and sculptural art from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Nov. 5-6, on the ASU Tempe campus.

Original, gallery-quality work by ASU ceramic students and faculty from vases and teapots to mugs, plates, bowls and ceramic jewelry will be on sale at prices that range from $5 to $300, according to Susan Beiner, associate professor of ceramics in the ASU School of Art in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts.

The annual sale is held by the student-run ASU Clay Club, which uses proceeds from the two-day event to raise money for students to attend the annual National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts conference.

More than 15 ceramics faculty and students offer their work in the sale which will be held on the stage across from the ASU Memorial Union on Nov. 5 and at the Danforth Chapel near the Memorial Union on Nov. 6.
