ASU launches Curriculum ChangeMaker, streamlines university course approval process

After almost a decade of continuous service, ASU has retired the use of the Academic Curriculum Review and Evaluation System (ACRES) as the electronic means for creating, routing and approving new course proposals and modifications to existing courses. Effective Oct. 24, the ACRES system has been replaced by Curriculum ChangeMaker, a new system developed in response to university feedback.

Curriculum ChangeMaker improvements include:

• A more user-friendly interface.

• The opportunity for academic units to customize internal college-level review processes.

• Streamlined forms.

• A condensed university review process.

• Faster implementation timelines.

Visit the Curriculum ChangeMaker website for details on Curriculum ChangeMaker training sessions and open office hours. Questions and comments can be directed to courses@asu.edu.
