ASU Health Services rolls out new patient portal for students

January 07, 2014

ASU Health Services, a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, has launched an online patient portal for students to send and receive secure messages with their ASU Health Services health care provider, and have round-the-clock access to their medical records.

“We want our students to be actively engaged participants in their care,” says Allan Markus, director of ASU Health Services and clinical associate professor of medicine. “This portal allows students to learn more about their health conditions, communicate their health needs with us and access their health records from anywhere in the world”.

Available through My ASU, the simple interface allows students to:

• contact a provider directly
• access, view and print medical documents
• refill prescriptions
• review and print billing statements
• access the portal’s comprehensive research center

The comprehensive research center allows patients to access information on various health topics, as well as information on how to maintain overall wellness.
