ASU expresses condolences to shooting victims

<p><strong>Statement from ASU President Michael Crow:</strong></p><separator></separator><p>I am shocked and horrified by the senseless act of violence that took the lives of six people in Arizona, including that of federal judge John Roll and Gabe Zimmerman, who graduated with a master's degree in social work from Arizona State University. I speak for the entire Arizona State University community in offering deepest condolences to the friends and families of the deceased. We send our prayers and well wishes for the speedy and full recovery of those who were wounded, including U.S. Representative Gabrielle Giffords, who has worked tirelessly to advance education in the state of Arizona at all levels including at ASU.</p>
