ASU experts engage in Sustainability Town Hall
U.S. Rep. Harry Mitchell will bring together experts from Arizona State University’s Global Institute of Sustainability and the City of Scottsdale for a Sustainability Town Hall from 2-3:30 p.m., Sept. 21 at ASU’s Old Main.
Panelists will share their expertise with the community, and discuss how universities, municipalities, businesses, and ordinary people can walk a common path toward sustainability.
“We live in one of the most rapidly growing urban areas in the country, and it’s increasingly important for us to understand how our communities can be more sustainable,” said Mitchell. “There are some incredible things happening right here at ASU that we can all learn from.”
The Global Institute of Sustainability conducts research, education, and problem-solving related to sustainability, with a special focus on urban environments.
