ASU celebrates world culture at 21st annual festival
Arizona State University will celebrate the heritage and traditions of global cultures as it hosts the 21st Annual World Festival on Feb. 26, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Hayden Lawn above Hayden Library.
“The World Festival is an unparalleled educational experience for ASU students and the Tempe community as it celebrates and showcases countries and cultures from around the world,” says Mason Murphy, international student advisor and World Festival coordinator.
International student organizations will set-up booths selling food, disseminating information, and displaying crafts and artifacts from their home countries and cultures.
Professional and student group entertainers will perform on the main stage of Hayden Lawn from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This free event is open to the public and is sponsored by ASU’s International Student Office. Paid parking is available on campus in designated visitor lots.
