ASU beats competition to hire Washpost's Len Downie


In what is being called "a major coup," the Cronkite School of Journalism has successfully recruited Washington Post executive editor Leonard Downie  Jr. to its faculty. Downie, who won more Pulitzer Prizes under his reign than any other editor in history, will begin teaching in August at the school's new downtown Phoenix campus.Article source: U.S. News & World Report
