ASU baseball team debuts new uniform at USC Blackout Game
The Arizona State University baseball team will wear a new uniform on April 13, at its game against the University of Southern California Trojans.
ASU’s new uniform pays homage to Arizona in this Centennial year, the 100th anniversary of its history as a state, by incorporating copper accents on a black background. The colors are part of the expanded Sun Devil Athletics color palette that was introduced in April 2011 along with the Nike-designed Fork and the exclusive Sun Devil Bold font.
The game will be a Blackout. Similar to the ASU football game this past season against Missouri, fans are encouraged to wear black to the game at Packard Stadium to support the team. Brand new black New Era hats will be go on sale, April 12, at the Sun Devil Stadium Team Shop and will also be available at the Packard Stadium Team Shop on the day of the game.
The 21st-ranked Arizona State baseball team is up against traditional Pac-12 rival USC with a chance to move up in the conference standings. Game one of the series will prove pivotal as the Sun Devils look to join football and basketball in defeating the Trojans this year.
