Arizona Advanced Computing Center hosts summer workshops for students, faculty, staff


Students, faculty and staff are invited to attend a series of free workshops that will be presented in Computing Commons 120, July 14-15.

This short series is aimed at current software developers on the Saguaro user environment and anyone interested in a detailed overview of Saguaro’s system hardware, tools and utilities.  

Schedule of workshops:

July 14:

• 10 a.m. – Saguaro user environment: PBS scripting, new hardware overview and scheduling tips

• 11 a.m. – Compiling, profiling, debugging, tuning and accelerating C and Fortran programs on Saguaro

July 15:

• 10 a.m. – Advanced scripting and helpful Unix tips on Saguaro

• 11 a.m. – Numerical libraries overview and parallelization strategies
