Annual Winter ArtFest to return Nov. 29

The 6th Annual Winter ArtFest and Christmas Bow Hunt is set to take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Hayden Lawn, Nov. 29. All ASU faculty, staff, students, alumni and retirees are invited to sell their arts and crafts.

There is no table fee, but participants are expected to donate an item for the silent auction.

It is an opportunity for budding, as well as seasoned, ASU artists to present their wares for sale to the community at large. Therefore, only handmade items made by the applicant(s) may be displayed for sale. Artists are required to man their booths.

Again this year, a $200 scholarship will be rewarded by drawing to one of the exhibiters. The scholarship may be used for either a class/workshop to advance in an art field or for supplies.

Numbered bows will be hidden on campus the day of the ArtFest. Pre-chosen numbers will win prizes.

Winter ArtFest is sponsored by The Devils’ Workshop. For more information, or to receive an application, send an email to Judith Smith, jps@asu.edu, or Mary-Beth Buesgen, Mary-Beth.Buesgen@asu.edu.
